Geoff Dyer’s The Ongoing Moment is a fascinating, interesting and fun overview of important photographers and themes in American photography, focusing mainly on their pre-colour photography. A good read that will form the basis for further exploration of many of the individuals discussed.
Talented make-up artist Dorota covered Marie Jean in gold coloured body paint, A group photo shoot with a difference, not least due to the reflectiveness of the paint.
Rather than sit in an airport hotel and get bored, I spent the evening plane spotting. The hoped-for plane-against-dramatic-sunset picture didn’t materialise, but it was a good evening nonetheless.
