Kevin from York Photo Studio had arranged a charity photoshoot with model Gingerface and makeup artist Lady Noctis Artistry, with a portion of the proceeds going to CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably). It’s a great cause, and it was a great opportunity to combine a charitable act with having a good time. So I booked first an hour, and then when another attendee had to cancel, I grabbed a second hour as well.

It was a great shoot, the studio is very well appointed, and Kevin is always happy to give a helping hand with setting lights up. Gingerface, also known as Emily, modelled beautifully and produced a number of really lovely, emotive facial expressions. My favourites from the day is the set where we used a gorgeous classic microphone as a prop.
